Buzima helps you organize goals, tasks, calendar, habits, journal entries, meals, finances, relationships, and related life data, and may provide AI-assisted guidance. We process personal information to provide that Service, keep it secure, and improve it.

If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Service. Additional details about product rules appear in our Terms of Use.

Account information. Name, email address, authentication identifiers, and password-related security data (passwords are handled by our auth provider; we do not store plaintext passwords).

Profile & preferences. Settings, themes, dashboard layout preferences, notification choices, and similar configuration.

User content you provide. Information you enter or generate in the Service, which may include ambitions, goals, milestones, tasks, calendar-related notes, habits, journal entries, meal plans, budgets and financial entries, relationship notes, workflows, uploads, and prompts you send to AI Features.

Usage & device data. Approximate logs such as IP address, browser/device type, pages or features used, referring URLs, timestamps, and diagnostic or error events needed to operate and secure the Service.

Billing data. If you start a trial or paid subscription, Stripe collects payment details. We receive subscription status, customer and subscription IDs, and limited billing metadata — not full card numbers.

Integrations. If you connect third-party services (for example calendars, banking aggregation where offered, or other connectors), we receive data those services provide according to the permissions you grant.

Local device storage. Some preferences or module data may be stored in your browser (for example localStorage) for performance or offline-friendly behavior, in addition to cloud storage.

We use information to:

• Provide, maintain, and personalize the Service
• Authenticate you and secure accounts
• Process subscriptions and prevent fraud
• Operate AI Features you choose to use
• Send service-related communications (verification, security, billing, material updates)
• Monitor reliability, debug issues, and improve product quality
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use your journal or private life data to train third-party foundation models for unrelated advertising, except as described in this Policy or with clear notice and choice where required.

When you use AI Features, relevant prompts and context from your account may be processed by us and by AI subprocessors (model providers) to generate outputs. Do not include information in prompts that you are not comfortable processing for that purpose.

We share information with:

• Service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, database/auth, payments, AI inference, email delivery, analytics, customer support tools), under contractual obligations appropriate to the service
• Integration partners you choose to connect
• Professional advisors (legal, accounting) when needed
• Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security
• Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate safeguards

We may also share aggregated or de-identified information that does not reasonably identify you.

We use reputable infrastructure and access controls designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Residual backups may persist for a limited period after deletion.

If you clear browser storage or use a different device, locally stored data may not be available until cloud sync restores it — or may be lost for features that are device-only.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Access, correct, or delete personal information
• Export certain data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based
• Appeal or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

You can update many account details in Settings. For privacy requests, email support@buzima.com. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

Marketing emails (if any) will include an unsubscribe option. We still send essential account and security messages.

The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the higher age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided information, contact support@buzima.com and we will take appropriate steps.

We may process information in countries other than your own, including where our hosting, authentication, payment, and AI providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate transfer mechanisms (such as contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will change the effective date and version above and, for material changes, provide additional notice as appropriate (for example in-product or by email).
